Fortress of Louisbourg - Time Travel

In continuing with an overview of the daily events for the Fortress of Louisbourg

Time Travel

Just thought I'd add a little explanation for what one of the events listed in the previous post actually was.  I'll be doing this for several of the events listed just to expand what it going on at the Fortress of Louisbourg and in the town during the Louisbourg 300 celebrations.  Hopefully it will be helpful information when planning a trip or traveling to Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.

A trio of rotating workshops will allow you to rub shoulders with local characters, providing you with a rare glimpse into the exciting challenges faced by residents in the 18th century town.  This will allow you to listen to stories from these characters about how their day to day lives were, ask questions about how they accomplished many different tasks, delight in seeing hot chocolate made the old fashioned way and much more.

See the previous post for more information on times.

And check the website for more information, accommodations and events.
