The first event partners the Fortress with the First Nations Communities of Membertou, Eskasoni, Potlotek, Wagmatcook and Waycobah for a celebration of Mi'kmaq heritage. The event will include a Pow-Wow at the Fortress, join in with traditional song and dance and listen to Mi'kmaq storytellers speak of their culture and their legends.
