Cape Breton Music Roundup #20 - January 22 - January 25 2015
Number 20! We have been enjoying providing you with our weekend recommendations, we hope you've enjoyed some of the great performers we've featured here. The usual suspects are in play this week for locations, Governor's, Doryman's, Emera Centre but we have some new faces here as far as artists go this week including our Thursday night early weekend show with Anthony Burke and Danny MacNeil. On the other hand we have a not so fresh face but a show you can't miss in Matt Minglewood performing at an excellent location in Whycocomagh. - Another early weekend kickoff at Governor's. This time with a couple of performers we have not featured here on the blog Anthony Burke and Danny MacNeil. With an album coming soon, Burke brings his Country folk tunes to Governor's with support from MacNeil. Get your weekend started right and early.

- Our featured After Work Party is again at the Emera Centre in North Sydney. After a long work week get out for some beer and pub grub and enjoy the guitar styling of Fred Lavery with Ian Aker. If your weekend starts on Friday, get it going here.

- The Whycocomagh Waterfront has had some top notch shows with excellent talent recently but this could be the best yet. Cape Breton rock legend Matt Minglewood is hitting the stage for an evening of Song, Stories, Rocking and The Blues. Our top recommendation for the weekend, get out to this one.
