Cape Breton Music Roundup #9 - October 23 - October 25 2014
Well with Celtic Colours now done for another year, there seems to be a slowdown in the ammount of shows for this week but still lots of great one's to see.
Our big recommend for the weekend is Celtic Oktoberfest in Port Hawkesbury. This will be Cape Breton's first craft beer and local food festival and features some great entertainment to go with. For more information and a link for tickets check out our post on Cetlic Oktoberfest from a few weeks ago.
If you can't make it to Port Hawkesbury or the craft beer and food isn't your thing, there are lot's of other great shows happening around the island, our complete list can be found at Music Guide Cape Breton, as well, we highlight a few more shows below.

- Our highest recommendation of the weekend comes in here. Cape Breton`s first craft beer and food celebration. Entertainment will include Wendy MacIsaac, Mac Morin and Party Boots. The food, beer and music lineup are all top notch, if you are in the area, a must, if have to spend the night, done. Check out our earlier Celtic Oktoberfest post for more details and some fine recommendations for great beer.
- The Stogies, Static in Action and The Wazzo - Governor's Pub, Sydney

- If you're in the mood for something a little more rock oriented, then come check out The Stogies in from down the road in Halifax supported by local talent Static in Action and The Wazzo. The Stogies are touring in support of their latest release "Hoot". A great downy and dirty rock group, this is going to be a great show.
