Cape Breton Music Roundup #10 - October 30 - November 1 2014
Quite the variety of shows going on for the Halloween weekend. Thursday night kicks it all of with a couple of big shows, Lennie Gallant release party and Cape Breton Smile on the second of two evening performances in Sydney. Friday brings us no shortage of great shows especially in Sydney but fear not for those who will be elsewhere, plenty of great Halloween shows and dances, you can get a list at Music Guide Cape Breton. Then more great shows on Saturday including a great fundraiser in Sydney. Check out our recommendations below:

- Black Tooth Grinn along with Rad& Subtract and John Paul and the Grassfire will be cranking the spooks and amps up to eleven with this Halloween show at the Fox Den. So get wired up on Halloween treats and join in with the mayhem.

- Looking for some electronic fun on Halloween, Governor's Pub will be featuring the creepy beats of Wobblefish, Spindyl, Jake Florian and Dirt Squirrel and Gatza. A high energy event for those who need to burn off the sugary Halloween candy.

- After all the Halloween excitement of Halloween come out and get down with Chris McDonald, Trombone James Munroe and special guest Janice Esther Tulk. A museum fundraiser, it's going to be great tunes for a great cause, so this is is highly recommended show to check out this weekend.

- Cape Breton's own cult horror movie The Legend of the Psychotic Forest Ranger is getting a special Halloween screening at the Cape Breton Centre for Heritage and Science. Not suitable for kids but fun for everyone else. If you haven't taken in The Psychotic Forest Ranger then you must get out and check this out, if you have, we'll you probably already have your tickets.
