As always, Action Week includes many events for the young-ins so get the kids ready and come out and enjoy these great events:
- KIDSPREE – The Festival for Kids Saturday, August 2 Noon – 4:00 p.m.
- Atlantic Street Field
- Featuring over 30 activity stations including Pony Rides, Face Painting, Crafts, Cupcake Decorating, Mini Putt, Balloon Animals, “Tickle Trunk” Dress Up, Serpentine Reptile Zoo, Mad Science, Run, Jump, Throw activities, “Paint the Town”, “Tonka Town”, Dinosaur Dig. There will be displays and demonstrations, Climb Vehicles and so much more.

- TEDDY BEAR PICNIC - Monday, August 4 6:00 p.m.
- Wentworth Park
- For kids of all ages … pack a lunch … bring a blanket and your favourite teddy bear. Duncan Wells concert, costumed characters, face-painting, Teddy Bear health checkup. So much fun!

- ACTION WEEK ONE MILE KIDS RACE - Wednesday, August 6 5:45 p.m.
- Starts: Steelworkers & Sydney Pensioners Club, 30 Inglis Street
- Registration at 5:15 p.m

- PRINCESS TEA - Sunday, August 11th 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
- Centre 200 – Main Concourse
- For princesses ages 12 & under
- Shine up your tiara and polish your glass slippers
- Admission: $5/princess $10/adult
- Tickets must be purchased in advance
- Tickets available at CBRM Recreation Department
