What summer would be complete without some Highland Games! Since 2012 the Margaree Highland Games have been one of the most exciting celebrations of Scottish Culture and Heritage. Running the weekend of August 9th and 10th in the Margaree River Valley, the games are flanked by concerts, bake sales, suppers and more! See below for a schedule of events.

- 9 PM - Traditional Cape Breton Square Dance (19+)

- 10 AM - Gates Open

- 12 PM - BBQ and Beer Garden opens
