Baddeck - Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site - Activities
Below is a list of activities and small writeup of each, at the Alexander Graham Bell site in Baddeck.
Activities
- White Glove Tour
- Would you like to actually interact with some of the items on display? Well this is the tour for you. With the accompaniment of a tour guide you will be taken to one of the site's artifact storage rooms where you will be allowed to hold items from one of the collections. How cool is that!? You will see things such as notebooks and walking sticks and will be invited to open storage cabinets and pull back the curtain between you and the artifacts! More collections will be opened up over time, making each tour a unique one.
- Silver Dart Replica
- Come see a replication of the original Silver Dart built by the Aerial Experiment Association 2005 in commemoration of the originals 1909 flight. The replica was flown by former astronaut Bjarni Tryggvason across Baddeck Bay in February 2009.
