Cape Breton Beaches - Favorites - Kennington Cove

Ahhh, the waves at Kennington Cove.  Located just outside the town of Louisbourg, tucked away down a dirt road is one of the more popular beaches on Cape Breton.  Known for it's large waves, often suitable for surfing.  The water can be cool in the early part of the summer, as most ocean beaches in Cape Breton can be, making great for cooling off.  A park is located near by with picnic tables and washrooms/change rooms.  Best to bring a snack as there is not usually a canteen nearby.
